Studio report
We are in the Excess
Studio recording our mini-cd 'Living for Today' as we speak.
We've been recording drums, bass and guitar for four songs, and
the vocal parts will follow from tomorrow on. Of course it's hard
to say what the result will sound like, but we can say now that
it's VERY much promising. The recordings are done by Dennis (Face
Tomorrow, Apers, Rosemary's Sons). The cd will be released early
september - we will let you know all the news about the release
as we get it!
Paul de Jong co-produces 'Living for Today'
Paul de Jong has generously offered his help for producing the mix
and master for our record. He will be joining us and engineer Dennis
when the mixing and mastering starts (looks like early august).
We're pretty excited about the whole idea of having a co-producer
in the first place, and we think Paul de Jong could be the right
man on the right spot.
LioM going on a holiday
After the recordings, the three of us are probably sick of each
other, so we spread throughout Europe to get away for a couple of
weeks. Bassplayer Thijs is going to his favourite little village
in Spain, drummer Roman is going to Italy and guitarist Ralf is
going to entertain a bunch of kids on a campingsite. Anyway, we're
not going to be playing anywhere at least until early august.
Release tour scheduled for september
Though a lot of gigs still have to be confirmed, the release
tour for 'Living for Today' is taking shape. We will have about
8 gigs in venues like Nighttown, LVC and Winston Kingdom. It's needless
to say you can keep in touch at our website...
